Azzerdeen’s interest in Acupuncture was sparked at a young age when she saw how beneficial Chinese Medicine was for her mum who developed a chronic metabolic disease. After embracing her fear of needles she embarked on her Acupuncture studies through Endeavour College of Natural Health, in Melbourne.

Azzerdeen has been an Acupuncturist for the past 10 years. She has worked in a variety of remote and metropolitan clinical settings ranging from community health centres, to crisis accommodation centres, to private practice clinics.

Over the course of her practice, Azzerdeen has learnt from some of the best local and international mentors that Chinese Medicine has to offer. In her treatments, she incorporates complementary styles of distal Acupuncture with local trigger point and dry needling techniques to help restore balance, alleviate pain, and calm the nervous system.
