After discovering the benefits of acupuncture as part of her own health journey, Ellen fell in love with the beauty and efficacy of Chinese medicine which lead her to study Acupuncture at Endeavour College of Natural Health across Brisbane & Sydney.
Using her vast clinical experience in both Western and Eastern medicine, Ellen focuses on supporting the body’s innate healing processes to relieve symptoms and restore balance. She enjoys utilising a range of techniques during her treatments including electroacupuncture, cupping, Gua Sha and Tui Na (Chinese massage).
As a qualified yoga instructor and avid CrossFitter, Ellen believes that movement is a form of medicine. Azzerdeen’s interest in Acupuncture was sparked at a young age when she saw how beneficial Chinese Medicine was for her mum who developed a chronic metabolic disease. After embracing her fear of needles she embarked on her Acupuncture studies through Endeavour College of Natural Health, in Melbourne.
Azzerdeen has been an Acupuncturist for the past 10 years. She has worked in a variety of remote and metropolitan clinical settings ranging from community health centres, to crisis accommodation centres, to private practice clinics.
